Espresso, National Squib #150

GPR Undertook a full refit of Espresso. A highly competitive example of the national squib.

Included in our remit was a new floor, raised to allow for self drainage of the cockpit. Replacement and improvement of the bilge pump system.
A full re-rig including significant reduction in friction and moving of most systems below deck to reduce both drag and clutter on deck.

The bottom of Squib 150 was fully refaired to optimum class profiles, rudder laser aligned and gudgeons re set. Underwater she was finished with interprotect and sprayed with Nautix A4 antifoul.

The deck was sanded back and non skid re applied including soft eva high grip foam in key areas to aid with boat handling.

The topsides were faired and primed. And then wrapped in 3m Vinyl, while the gunwhales were clad in strip teak and oiled.

Finally a gold boot stripe was added as detail.
